Privacy Policy

The short version
- This website sets no cookies and runs no analytics, advertising, or tracking scripts.
- The request form does not send anything to our servers. It opens your own email app with a message addressed to us, and nothing is sent until you choose to send it.
- When you book a run, we use your information to pick up, deliver, and bill. We do not sell it.
- We do not open the packages we carry.
Who we are
Acer Transportation LLC is a courier company based in Boise, Idaho. In this policy, “we” and “us” mean Acer Transportation LLC. This policy covers our website at acertransportation.com and the information we handle when we carry deliveries for you.
What we collect when you visit the website
The website itself stores nothing about you. It does not set cookies, does not use browser storage, and contains no analytics or advertising code.
Two outside services are involved in showing you the page:
- Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, delivers the website and, like any web host, processes technical details of each request — such as your IP address, browser type, and the page requested — in order to serve the page and protect it from abuse.
- Google Fonts supplies the typefaces the page uses. When your browser loads them, Google receives your IP address and basic browser details.
Those providers handle that information under their own privacy policies.
What we collect when you request a run
The request form collects your company, your name, a phone number or email address, when you need the run, pickup and delivery locations, and a description of what is moving. Pressing “Send to dispatch” opens your own email app with those details filled in. Nothing reaches us until you send that email yourself.
If you call or email dispatch directly, we collect the same kind of information from that conversation.
What we collect when we carry a delivery
To complete a run we may record:
- Pickup and delivery addresses, and the names and contact details of the sender and recipient
- Handling instructions and a description of the shipment
- Pickup and delivery times, and the vehicle’s position while the run is in progress
- Proof of delivery, which may include a photo at the point of delivery and the recipient’s signature
- Billing details needed to invoice you
We do not open packages. We know what a shipment contains only to the extent you tell us or it is visible on the outside.
How we use it
- To pick up and deliver your shipment, and to keep you informed while it is in transit
- To confirm delivery and keep a record of it
- To invoice you and keep accurate business and tax records
- To respond to your questions and resolve any problem with a delivery
- To meet legal obligations
We do not sell your information, and we do not use it for advertising.
Who we share it with
- The driver assigned to your run, who needs the pickup and delivery details to complete it. Our drivers work as independent contractors and are expected to use this information only for the run they are carrying.
- The recipient, to the extent needed to complete the delivery.
- Service providers we rely on to run the business, such as our email, hosting, and accounting providers, only as needed for them to provide those services.
- Authorities, when the law requires it, or where it is needed to protect people’s safety or our legal rights.
Medical and clinical shipments
We carry pharmacy, laboratory, and clinical deliveries. Labels and paperwork on those shipments can carry information about a patient. We treat it as confidential: it is used only to complete the delivery, seen only by the people who need it to do so, and never opened or copied beyond what the delivery requires. If your organization needs a specific written agreement covering how we handle this information, contact us before your first run.
How long we keep it
We keep delivery and billing records for as long as we need them to provide the service, handle any questions or disputes about a delivery, and meet our legal, accounting, and tax obligations. After that we delete them or reduce them to what the law requires us to keep.
Your choices
You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. We will do so unless we need to keep it to complete a delivery in progress, to bill for a completed one, or to meet a legal obligation. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under the law of your state; we will honor them.

Security
The website is served only over encrypted connections, and it is configured to load nothing beyond the page itself and its typefaces. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable care to protect the information we hold, and we limit who can see it.
Email you send us travels through your email provider and ours. Please do not include information in an email that you would not want transmitted that way; call dispatch instead.
Children
Our services are for businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle information, we will update this page and the effective date above.
